The York Spiritualist Centre is affiliated to Spiritualist National Union and is a religious organization as recognized in law.

York Spiritualist Centre is OPEN to the Public:
anyone is welcome to attend the services, activities and events advertised.
No need for membership nor particular belief.

Founded 110 years ago, the Centre offers an opportunity to hear the teachings of Spirit, to witness communications from those who have gone to Spirit world & take part in Spiritual self-development.

There are only two LEGALLY RECOGNISED religions in the UK: SPIRITUALISM and the Church of England, as each has its own Act of Parliament.

Spiritualism is the oldest religion in the world.

Announcement!

Anyone intending to attend the recently advertised Demonstration of Mediumship
on Monday 9th November (at 7pm)
with mediums Beryl Norris and Bill Mennell
are required to first BOOK their tickets a.s.a.p!

During each 'Sunday Service' (initialed D.S.) (6:30pm - 8pm): there is an experimental demonstration of Mediumship (i.e 'messages' aiming at demonstrating the continuity of life after death).

Healing (Laying on hands on/off shoulders) is available on Sundays at 8pm after the service.

Also on Tuesdays (7:30pm to 9pm) : evening of Healing, Relaxation & Meditation.

Open Circles: Monday (2pm - 3:30pm) & Wednesday (7:30pm - 9pm):
An opportunity to discover & unfold your Spiritual, psychic and mediumistic abilities, led by an experienced Spiritualist - absolute beginners welcome.

After the Service on the last Sunday of every month there is an open platform for trainee Mediums.

Other events are posted on the notice board at the Centre.

In addition, the Secretary organizes Private Sittings with Spiritualist Mediums at quarterly intervals. All sittings are held at the Centre.

The Centre is committed to demonstrating all forms of Spiritualist Mediumship.

Extra demonstrations of Physical Mediumship are arranged ad hoc and such events are announced on the platform. Please ensure that you book places early.
