Reiki is an ancient art of natural healing rediscovered in Japan by Dr Mikao Usui at the end of the nineteenth century.

 After this it becomes more difficult.  Reiki and the leaning of it is a process, you can only start to understand Reiki by experiencing it and allowing it into your life.

 Reiki is a Japanese word meaning universal life-force energy.  The first syllable Rei means universe, soul, and oneness.  The second syllable Ki means life-energy, body.  Other cultures refer to Ki as: Qi/Chi by the Chinese, Light by Christians, Prana by Hindus etc.
