Often the first step towards identifying and prioritising energy efficiency measures in existing buildings. Audits and Surveys are carried out in accordance with standard procedures such as CIBSE Energy Audits and Surveys Applications Manual. Audits/surveys in all building types, from residential to commercial/industrial, public and educational. Registered consultant with Government’s Environment and Energy Helpline and Action Energy programme for industrial/commercial energy surveys.

Environmental Impact of Energy/Building systems

Techniques including carbon dioxide (CO2) accounting applied to buildings/transport systems in a life-cycle analysis (LCA) approach. As legislation is tightened governing environmental emissions and Green Credit trading etc is introduced, this is becoming an area of increasing interest. Advice is also given and analyses made re feasibility of environmental rating (BREEAM/EcoHomes) awards applications.
