Members meet each Monday lunchtime (except Bank Holidays) in the city centre at the Ramada Leicester Hotel (formerly the Grand Hotel and then the Ramada Jarvis Leicester Hotel), Granby Street, Leicester, LE1 6SE (tel. 0844 815 9012).  (Click here for location and travel directions, including a Google Map)

Visiting Rotarians and guests meet from 12 noon in the bar, with a two course lunch available for collection from the Servery from 12.30 pm onwards (last serving of main course at 1. 05 pm).  At 1.15 pm we have a speaker who gives us an insight into many and varied aspects of our community and international issues, and the formal close of the meeting is at 1.45 pm, though members and guests are encouraged remain for fellowship to 2 pm if business or professional commitments permit this.

On Monday 7th December we were especially delighted to have a visit from Michael Archer, President of the Club for 2006-7, now a member of the Rotary Club of New Plymouth West, North Island, New Zealand, on behalf of which Michael presented the banner of his new Club.

Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar Nanae Hamma, studying at Leicester University for the 2009-10 academic year, has presented the Club banner of her sponsoring Rotary Club: Munakata, Fukuoka, Japan.
