New cut

This is a totally new cut section, about to be surveyed.
The latest plans that I have seen indicate plans to develop a triangular area bounded by the A419 and the A420, in tne south east angle formed by those two roads and extending to Acorn Railway Bridge.
The south eastern boundary of this development would be formed by a road, and the Canal would probably run alongside it, on the outside.

Let's hope the developers are enlightened enough to include a canalside pub in their plans!
It could be called "The New Cut".
