FEES & GRANTS &
VOUCHERS
From January 2010

FEES
£12 per Session
for 2-year-olds
FREE for funded 3 and 4-year-olds
£4 for our Lunch
Club (optional and subject to demand)
Our fees are currently £12 per session, payable
in advance at the beginning of each term. Two-year-old children normally start
on 2 or 3 sessions a week and move up to 4 or 5 sessions once they are funded.
When there is sufficient demand we also run a Lunch Club, which is currently £4
per session if booked in advance. Please speak to Marta if these rates present
a problem - concessions are available.
Small Print
No discounts or refunds are available for holiday or
sickness absence, special events that replace the normal session (usually held
on a Friday), or closure due to severe weather conditions. Please also be aware
that sessions are not transferable - an absent child cannot give their session
to another child.
15 HOURS FREE ENTITLEMENT
Nursery Education Grant
Children become eligible for Nursery Education Grant
in the term following their 3rd birthday. More precisely, they must be 3 before
the 1st of the first month of term.
In other words, to qualify for the Spring term they
must be 3 before the 1st of January, for the Summer term before the 1st of
April, and for the Autumn term before the 1st of September.
But once your
child is funded, their sessions will be entirely FREE from January 2010
onwards.
CHILDCARE
VOUCHERS
Paying pre-school fees with Childcare Vouchers can
save parents of 2-year-old children a significant amount of Tax and National
Insurance. This is especially true for parents in the 40% income tax bracket.
Vouchers are not means tested. They also provide a convenient electronic
form of payment, generally known as e-vouchers. The original paper vouchers are
virtually obsolete.
We are currently registered with, but not limited
to, the following Childcare Voucher Providers: -

KiddiVouchers |
In effect, Childcare Vouchers are an additional
grant payable to working parents and it is they who see the benefit, not the
pre-school. We therefore encourage parents to accumulate sufficient funds in their
account to pay the full fee, using e-vouchers, at the start of term. Any
shortfall can be made up with a cheque. If you opt for monthly payments, or
paper vouchers, please be aware that we charge a £10 administration fee.
NB. Childcare Vouchers
will be closed to new entrants from April 2011, and will be withdrawn
completely by April 2015.
