The Beginners Course (level 1) takes
you through all the basic book keeping routines up to Trial Balance
stage modifying a Chart of Accounts to remove unnecessary accounts, setting up
customer and supplier accounts, posting Sales and Purchase Invoices
and Credit Notes, posting bank receipts and payments,
petty cash, posting error corrections, producing a Trial Balance.

Having mastered the basics, the student can then rapidly move on to
the more complex areas of accountancy and the Intermediate course
(level 2) progresses the student to Balance Sheet stage (quick
recap on basics followed by raising Product and Service invoices
from Sage, Bank Reconciliation's, recurring
entries, producing a VAT return, depreciation, journal entries, Profit & Loss
Account and Balance Sheet). The second level will enable a
student to produce output from Sage that is suitable for audit
purposes and for running the accounts department in most businesses.

The Advanced Level (Level 3) - covers
Credit Control Procedures, Project Accounting, Budgets and
Variances, Cash Flow Forecasting, Accruals & Prepayments,
Exporting reports to Excel or saving them as PDF's for email,
Dealing with customer cheque returns, refunds, overpayments, setting user
access rights and passwords.

PLEASE NOTE:
Familiarity
with Level 1 is a pre-requisite before proceeding to Level 2. Both courses are different in
content and if you are not familiar with Level 1 you will have
difficulties in mastering Level 2. |
