There were mixed fortunes for the top four in the first division. The morning leaders Gapton Car Hire found themselves one down after 51 seconds against Great Yarmouth Peelers when Martin Goulder scored. Gapton were soon level but Goulder scored from outside the penalty area and Richie Temple spotted the keeper off his line to make it 3-1 before the break. The second half was a different story as Gapton piled on the pressure and found themselves 4-3 ahead through goals from Aaron Hogg, Peter Oldham, Paul Symonds and R Collins. Peelers were finished and got an equaliser through substitute Matt Buckoke to make the final score 4-4.

Arches started the day second but went down to their first defeat of the season at the hands of MK United. Goals from Del Salmon and Sam Bartram moved MK into a three-way tie at the top on ten points despite having Gerald Mynett dismissed. Reigning champions Catfield had no problems defeating Great Yarmouth Town Hall 7-0 as Paul Thompson grabbed five goals and Daniel Hurren two to move top on goal difference.

Star and Garter remain bottom without a point as they slumped to a 6-0 defeat at the hands of Golfers Arms. Two goals from both Adam Flaxman and Johnnie Ross and one each from K Bartley and A Thompson helped Golfers to their first win of the campaign. Gorleston Rangers recorded win number two as they won 3-1 at Caister United A with goals from Keith Vincent, Ben Kiki and R Donovan.

MK United Reserves took the lead against the run of play against Great Yarmouth Peggottys when Jamie Harrison's low cross was coolly side footed in by Ricky Martin. When the keeper's clearance fell to Daryl Hall in his own half he made no mistake in finding the empty net from 50 yards. Ricky Martin completed the first half scoring. A first half injury allowed Will Burrell his first game of the season in which he scored two second half goals and the scoring was completed by Adam Conaway to complete a 6-1 and a third win in three outings.

Great Yarmouth International are second in Division Two South after a narrow 2-1 win against the previously undefeated Gorleston Peggottys. The win was achieved by goals from Luis Paiva and Diogo Fernandes. The two teams without a win in the southern section met on the Beaco and Star and Garter Reserves emerged 3-1 winners thanks to goals from T Yaxley, J McGettigan and D Shillito against Burton Arms.

Division Two North has two new teams at the head of the section. Martham A are the new leaders who were inspired by the performance of new boy Aaron Clemence that seemed to lift the whole team. The first goal was not long in coming and no surprise when Clemence making his debut scored a well taken goal. Reedham hit back almost immediately and equalised within five minutes, but Martham kept pressing forward and Robert Blogg got the second goal with a fine shot. Clemence made it 3-1 and then just before the break Richard Barnes made it 4-1 with a well-worked goal. After the break a fine solo effort by Jonno Rowland further increased the lead before Reedham got back into the game with two quick goals. The Sunningdale sit second after 3-1 home win against Hemsby.

The day's most exciting game was on Mill Lane where Carpathians were visitors to face Prince Consort. The visitors made a good start coming close within the first two minutes before taking the lead after only seven minutes through G Quinn. This was followed by another on 14 minutes from Lee Sparkes. But before the break Consort were level through Danny Glover. The second half was similar to the first as Carpathians scored three times through Colin Walker, Sparkes and Quinn. Prince came back strongly to equalise as Glover scored again and Jason McNab netted twice and despite having a player sent off could have snatched victory near the end.

Five of the six Wiltshire Cup ties pitted first division sides against second division and despite no upsets there were some creditable performances. Sunningdale pushed Caister United A all the way before losing to the odd goal in seven as Paul Driver, Gary Ward, Arron Robson and Robert Boughen netted for the home side. Carpathians defended stoutly against Arches before falling to goals from Daniel Crosby and Scott Grainger.

A Darren Lamb hat trick, a double from Scott Rose and one from M Marshall were enough to Star & Garter a first win of the season and a home tie against Gapton Car Hire in the second round.

Golfers Arms defeated Great Yarmouth Peggottys 9-1 as Chris Abbott, Johnny Ross, Chris King all scored twice with A Rilings, K Housein and club stalwart Danny Greenwood also netting.

Martham A were given a harsh footballing lesson by an impressive MK United as they sailed through 11-1 with Luis Miller leading the goal fest with a hat trick. In the all-second division clash Burton Arms recorded their first win of the season as they beat Reedham 3-0 in an entertaining tie with goals from Lee Orchison, Joe McLeman and Will Roden.

In the day's top league clash Catfield opened a three point lead at the top of division one as they beat close rivals Gapton Car Hire 3-2 thanks to two goals from Chad Pillar and one from Paul Thompson.

Gorleston Rangers move into fourth spot after a 3-2 away to Burgh Hall, Adie Sharman, Keith Vincent and an own goal just shaded the points.

3-2 was also the result as Great Yarmouth Town Hall moved out of the bottom two with a hard earned victory against Great Yarmouth Peelers. Richard Jepps managed to smuggle the ball in the back of the Peelers net following a corner ball mid way through the first half but Peelers responded instantly with a super strike from Martin Goulder to level. A good solo run by Vinny Ruggerio resulted in one of the Peelers defenders turning the ball into his own net. Peelers still pressed forward and managed to level again through a Jason Howell close range effort. Town Hall pressed forward once more this time Gary Skoyles crossing in a quality ball to the Peelers far post for Ryan Porter to head home the winner.

Albert Tavern are the new leaders of Division Two North as they beat Prince Consort 6-4. Consort were ahead early after a mistake from Gleason who let the ball slip through his legs. Consort were controlling the game they went two up with a great strike from the edge of the box from Kai Lake. Albert then started to improve and were soon back in the game as Daniel Charlton found the bottom corner from just inside the box. Ross Charlton broke down the right side and his cross was deflected into their own net. Albert were in front just before half time as Paul Charlton volleyed in from the edge of the box. Prince Consort were equal from the penalty spot after Jamie Brown handled in the box.

Albert were in front when Ross Charlton headed home a Robert Ripkey corner. The same player added his side's fifth but Consort were back in the game with five minutes left. On his return from injury Ross Charlton wrapped up the points with his third of the game tapping into an empty net.

MK United Reserves remain top of Division Two South despite what manager Shaun Miller described as the worst performance of the season. Jodie Harrison, Chris Stanton and Colin Halliday (2) ensured a 4-0 win against a luckless Gorleston Peggottys. Great Yarmouth International sit second following a 3-2 win against Star & Garter Reserves.

It was a case of two through and two out of the Norfolk Junior Cup. Catfield made really hard work at North Elmham eventually progressing to the third round after extra time. Chad Pillar netted a hat trick and goals from Kirk George, Darren Scales and Spencer Self saw Catfield emerge 6-5 winners. It has been a long time since there normally disciplined defence conceded five. Arches defeated Great Yarmouth Reserves 3-2 to join Catfield in the next round.

MK United were unfortunate to lose to a good Kings Lynn A however manager Tich Leighton wasn't happy with his lack lustre showing at Buxton where Gapton Car Hire were level at 2-2 only to capitulate 6-2.

Gorleston Rangers took full advantage of others on cup duty to reach second spot in the first division after a comfortable 6-0 win against a depleted Star & Garter. Keith Vincent grabbed a hat trick with other goals coming from M Vincent, D Harper, R Donovan. Caister United A consolidated their good start to the season by beating Great Yarmouth Peelers 4-1 thanks to goals from Jamie Guest (2) G Ward and P Driver.

Some close games once again in division two with Carpathians and Martham A sharing the spoils in a 1-1 draw. Stephen Ward put Carpathians ahead with a well struck free kick however Martham were level through N White early in the second period. Reedham and Sunningdale shared six goals and the points in an entertaining encounter. The home goals came from Wes Smith and Jon Thorne. A solitary goal from usual goal keeper Lewis Alp was enough to earn Hemsby all three points despite late pressure from Gorleston Peggottys.

Prince Albert maintained their 100% league record creating a lot of chances against Great Yarmouth Peggottys before a mistake from the Peggotty's defence and goalkeeper left Daniel Charlton with the easy job of tapping into the empty net. Peggotty's were soon equal however Albert went into half time 2-1 up after Daniel Charlton grabbed another.

15mins into the second half and the Albert finally added a third from a Robert Ripkey corner who found Jamie Brown who tapped home from 6 yards. Albert finished the game with 2 late goals the first coming through the ever improving Robert Ripkey who ran onto a through ball and blasted home. Albert then finished the game with the best goal of the game with Jamie Brown receiving the ball on the edge of the box and smartly turning to finish coolly.

Champions Catfield march on towards retaining their title as Paul Thompson smashed in seven goals against bottom club Star & Garter who are still searching for their first point of the season. An own goal and a Chad Pillar hat trick completed the 11-1 rout. The team that started the day in second spot, Gorleston Rangers lost 3-1 to Arches who are one of four sides covered by two points trailing Catfield. Two goals from Stuart Finch and one from Chris Duffy earned Arches their third victory in six outings.

Gapton Car Hire are second on goals scored after a 6-1 win against Caister United A. A much improved performance on the previous week's Junior Cup exit. Gapton opened the score with Ash Evans put in a superb cross from the right for Steve Calver to header a bullet giving the keeper no chance. Evans then went on to score the second with a shot from inside the box. Caister pulled a goal back through Adam mason to make it 2-1. Aaron Hodds scored after turning Caister's defence and finishing with a good low drive into the net, to make 3-1 at half time. The second half Gapton took the upper hand and a solo effort from Tom Mann made it 4-1 after some very good work by Paul Symonds in middle. Symonds then ran though into the box to convert a cross from Calver and it was Calver who converted a penalty to complete the scoring.

MK United are third after they defeated Golfers Arms 7-2. Luis Miller (2) Roy Coe (2) Thompson (2) and Eric Mynett scored to leave MK three points off the lead. Town Hall started brightly against Burgh Hall and drew first blood when Vinny Ruggerio netted early on. Hall doubled their lead through Richard Jepps before Burgh pulled one back through an Ian Barnes penalty to go in 1-2 at the break. Hall again started the better using the wide areas of space to better effect with Steven Forsyth battling to the goal line to cross for Ryan Porter to net Hall's third. The same Forsyth continued to work hard along the right flank and was rewarded with the fourth. K. Bues came on with 25 minutes to go and made his mark on the game by sealing the win with two goals of his own one of which was a great solo effort. Burgh capitalised on a rare mistake by the Hall defence as Barnes grabbed one back to leave the final score 6-2.

Second Division North leaders Albert Tavern started well against Reedham but didn't really create any real chances. Albert continued to press when Ross Charlton broke down the right hand side to hit his shot under the Reedham keeper. The Albert then won a penalty which Daniel Charlton blasted home. Straight after the restart Reedham grabbed a goal back from the spot. Albert were soon back in a two goal lead from a Ross Charlton header from Scotty Charlton's cross. Reedham then scored again to get back in the game but Albert made it 4-2 after Daniel Charlton beat a few defenders and then struck home from 6 yards. Albert got a fifth after a Daniel Charlton long ball picked out Ross Charlton who lobbed home from 18 yards. Scotty Charlton then wrapped the game up with a brilliant left foot volley from 12 yards to maintain Albert's 100% record.

The other five games had no more than one goal between the teams with the most entertaining game of the day at Martham where the home side shared twelve goals with visitors The Sunningdale. In the first half Sunningdale went 3-1 up with goals from Billy Lawson, David Pasco and Jason Witheridge. Martham's persistence paid off and they got the score back to 3-3 at half time. In the second period an Adam Newcombe solo effort and finish just after the restart made it 4-3 to the Sunningdale. Martham fought back again and then took the lead in this game making it 5-4. Goals from Pasco and a screamer from Leon Tomasso put the Sunningdale back ahead making it 6-5. But in one final twist In the last minutes of the game Martham got a corner and converted to make the final score 6-6 in this thriller.

Division Two South leaders MK United Reserves took their 100% record into their game against Prince Consort and took a first half lead when Daryl Hall took on three players and drilled the ball home for an interval lead. MK doubled their lead after some excellent play from Ricky Martin who then laid off to Jody Potter for a simple tap in. Looked at this time as if the game was won especially as Prince Consort had a stand-in keeper, however Consort battled back well and scored with a well taken free kick from Kai Lake. Consort equalised with 10 minutes remaining when Steve Williams reacted quickly from another free kick to slot a quality left foot shot in while MK were still arguing whose fault the foul was. Only some excellent saves from Skip Garnham kept MK in this game at the end. MK manager Shaun Miller was relieved at the end and viewed it as "certainly a point gained."

Two teams vying for promotion met in an inter-conference game when Hemsby entertained Great Yarmouth International. Following a goalless first half Great Yarmouth International had a number of chances at the start of the second period and went ahead through Americo Gomes. This only inspired Hemsby to go on the attack and when Lewis Alp was fouled inside the area top scorer Terry Whitehouse calmly converted the penalty to level the scores. The match remained very tight until the last minute when a shot by Gary Chapman was diverted past the Yarmouth keeper by Terry Whitehouse for his second of the game and tenth goal of the season to grab a late winner and secure a memorable victory.

At Ormesby, Carpathians took the lead against Gorleston Peggottys after 18 minutes when Lee Sparkes converted a well flighted free kick from Steven Ward. Peggottys hit back with two goals in a five minute spell from Adam Pope who finished off a great run from the right and Tom High after some good Peggottys play.

In the second period the home side were level when a Colin Walker cross was turned into their own net by a Peggotty's defender. Peggottys were not to be denied, especially Dolphie Gray who hit the woodwork a number of times before he did manage to score the all-important winner as he beat a defender to a through ball and slotted away calmly.

Star & Garter Reserves recorded their second win of the season as they narrowly defeated Burton Arms 2-1 to leave Burton Arms rooted to the foot of the table with a solitary point. Patrick Locherie and J Thomas scored the crucial goals.
