| Emma Hudgell was born 31st January 1878 at 1 Occupation Row St Peters, Walworth, London |
Her parents were Charles Hudgell and Martha Channon
|

She was first married in late 1898 to Thomas Patrick Mackersey from
Ireland but within 3 years she was widowed It is believed that Thomas Patrick Mackersey was Irish and that he was born and died there. This would explain why Emma and Thomas Mackersey don't appear in the 1901 census for England, they could have possibly been living in Ireland at that time. |
