Local attractions

Not far from Jadrija you will find many attractive places to visit. There is the [ibenik Archipelago, the beautiful Kornati Islands, several lively tourist spots, or quiet natural inland beauty areas.

There are hundreds of islands around Jadrija-- some are inhabited but most are not so you can wander around exploring and swimming, snorkelling, wind-surfing, sailing or whatever you fancy.

[ibenik the municipal centre --20 minutes away-- is a wonderful well-preserved medieval town with two ancient fortresses and an impressive cathedral but all the facilities of a modern town.

Vodice is 10 minutes by car and there you will find a marina, shops, market, cafes and restaurants as well as a very lively night scene.

Venture inland for half an hour and you come to the lakeside marina town of Skradin from where you can take an idyllic short boat ride to the Krka National Park. Here you will find impressive waterfalls and peaceful walks through the woods.
