Statement To Parents/Guardians

 

We will work to the best of our ability to ensure your child/children will be in a safe and healthy environment where they can learn and develop to the best of their ability. We will work to the Standards and Regulations laid down by Ofsted our governing body.

We operate a “No Smacking Policy”

There is “No Smoking” or consuming of “Alcoholic” drinks.

All people over 16 in contact with children will be CRB checked by Ofsted.

We will regularly check and monitor the security of the premises and will regularly check on the cleanliness and operational condition of all toys and equipment used in our daily routines.

We will carry out a safe evacuation of our premises in accordance with our Evacuation Procedure at least 6 times a year.

We will ensure that there will be an adequate First Aid Kit in the house and in the cars at all times. We will ensure that we regularly update our First Aid Knowledge in keeping with the Standards and Legislature in force.

All children will be logged in and out in our daily diary. All children are dropped off and collected in accordance with the Record of Information Sheets. (or by prior consent).

All accidents and incidents will be recorded and Parents/Guardians will sign and receive a copy of any reports. Medicines will only be administered by us if signed parental consent has been obtained and in accordance with the parents and Doctors directions.

On all journeys, children will be escorted to and from the venue in a safe and recognised manner, when transported by car age appropriate restraints will be used.

There will be Full Public Liability Insurance and Motor Insurance will be for Business Use.

All food and drinks will be prepared, stored and served in hygienic surroundings and will be of a nutritional nature and in accordance with the parents' wishes on the Record of Information Sheet. Water will be readily available at all times. No child shall, be left to eat alone.
