Click on the icon above to expand the photograph. This was the official photo of F Flight (later to become Supermarine Flight - or was it the other way round?) of the 226th Craft Apprentice Entry at RAF Locking, taken outside the Apprentices Mess sometime in 1972 or 1973. It is the Ground Radio Apprentices of the 226th entry, not the Ground Radar Apprentices of the entry which were a different flight.

It is published on this page for interest only. My thanks or apologies go to the RAF Locking Apprentices Association for pinching the emblems above from their web page.

With help from readers of these pages, I hope to eventually fill in all the names of the people in the photo and list their present or last known status. I am not including present or last known locations as this may have security or privacy implications.

Instead of cluttering up this page with loads of names,  I have split them up into three pages - Front Row, Middle Row and Back Row of the photo.

These pages were first published in March 1999 and the few names entered in the tables at that time are correct only as far as I can remember them. My apologies to all those whose names I cannot remember - well is has been over a quarter of a century! If you can supply any of the missing names or correct any which I have already entered then, please e-mail me by clicking on "Send e-mail". If you can identify anyone, please make sure that you state accurately the row and position of the person that you are telling me about.
