Paul is an highly acclaimed, accomplished, entertaining and vastly experienced singer and actor who has performed at theatre, cabaret, stadiums and arenas, on video, film, radio and television all over the world.
Dividing his time between the west coast of USA and the UK Paul is one of the new rising stars in the world of swing and big band music.
In the summer of 2009 he received a stack of rave reviews and unanimous critical praise for his leading role in the Toby Cruse production ‘The Great American Songbook’ in London and has just completed a nationwide tour to rapturous audiences in a new show 'Strictly Swing'.
Paul was originally internationally renown for his sixteen years spent as singer for the iconic British band 'The Stranglers' during that period he achieved various chart hits in both Britain and Europe and appears on at least 30 albums and as many singles.
He has worked with countless top European producers and musicians including Ivor Novello winner Martin Phipps and Nigel Kennedy.
Other commitments have included entertaining the forces all across the globe with the Combined Services Entertainment shows in the Falklands, Kosovo, Bosnia, Macedonia, Belfast and Cyprus.
He has toured with everything from a pianist through to a big band and a full orchestra and has performed at all major british stadia including the Albert Hall and at the worlds biggest music festivals.
Paul has also lectured and conducted performance master classes at some of the biggest music academies in the U.K. including ACM in Guildford, Sir Paul McCartneys LIPA in Liverpool, Platform One on the Isle of Wight and BIMM in Brighton and is an avid supporter of the Music Manifesto.
Screen and theatre appearances include 'Cranford' and 'Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day'with lead roles including 'The Art Of Love', 'Perfick' based on the Darling Buds of May, 'Mephistopheles Smith', in the Richard O'Brien play of the same name in Edinburgh. Paul is also now in his third year of panto....oh yes he is.....
