A range of teaching material has been produced (by Teachers, for Teachers) for INSET training days, relating to the Wow CD-ROM. Over time, further material will be added to this section of the BNSC web site; along with material submitted by teachers who have attended these INSET days. It is hoped that a forum for Teachers can be created where teaching plans and exercises can be exchanged and recycled. If you would like to find out more about having the Wow CD-ROM authors visit your area to demonstrate how it can be used to teach science, geography and ICT skills, please contact Alison Caldwell or Mike Turner.
Here is a listing of the available Worksheets, Handouts, Lesson plans and other documents mostly in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format. The Acrobat Reader is part of BNSC's 'Window on the World' CD-ROM installation, or it can be downloaded from Adobe's web site:
Please note: to print better quality Acrobat (PDF) documents, use the printer button loaded as part of the web browser's Acrobat Plugin interface (far lefthand side) or from within the Acrobat Reader, rather than using the File\Print command from your web browser.
