The RLT '69
RLT Watch Co. - Limited Edition. This is Number 3 of only 100 made.
Movement : Swiss Manual wind ETA 2801.2 with hack seconds. Limited edition number engraved on the case back.
Watch case : 37mm All steel case with screw on back. Acrylic crystal (also available with mineral glass). Originally supplied on a NATO strap I have put mine on an Ostrich leather strap with deployant buckle.
This watch is a Homage (not a copy) to the SMITHS 1969 W10 British Military issue wristwatch. At 37mm it's 2mm bigger but that reflects the modern move toward bigger watches. Luminova instead of Tritium for the lume.
Another absolutely superb job from Roy Taylor at RLTWatches.com.

Side by side you can see how close the two are. Note the slightly different font of the numbers and different hands. Also see how 30 years of age has changed the lume colour on the original. Thankfully Roy was not tempted to put the military "crow's foot" on the dial of the homage. The mark (also called a broadarrow) denots the watch as being British military issue but some manufacturers seem intent on putting it on all the military style watches they produce. (The Smiths is not my watch just a picture I borrowed off the net source unknown).
