Part of a collection of songs, sent to us by Mel
Lewis, now living in Melbourne, Australia. These
songs were recorded live, in a cellar at Harriet
Street, Normanton, Derby in 1973. A classic mono
cassette recorder with built in mike was placed
on a shelf in the corner of the cellar. The cellar
ceiling at Harriet St was so low, that we were all
sat down. Far from Hi-Fi quality, but historically
priceless.
