Jurassic Coast Photo Workshop ~ Sunday 31st May 2009. This hands-on workshop visits a number of dramatic locations on the Dorset 'Jurassic' Coast.
The cliffs along this coast expose an almost uninterrupted sequence of rock formations spanning some 185 million years. Our great
British weather! will supply a dramatic backdrop to this breathtakingly beautiful location. The group will leave Poole, Dorset in a comfortable modern minibus and visit a number of locations before stopping for a Pub lunch near Corfe Castle. After lunch there are a number of stops for photography before shooting the massive portland stone 'Durdle Door' arch which has been spectacularly cut by the sea. Equipment: Digital or film cameras. Recommended but not essential items are lens hood, effect filters, lightweight tripod. Clothing: Appropriate clothing and footwear for coastal terrain will be necessary.
