

A two lake complex set in a well matured woodland park, the area used to be a clay
pit up until 1936 when it was flooded. The first pond is the small pond it has 22
pegs with paths all-round for easy access. The last two pegs 21-22 are for wheelchair
uses. We have matches on the small pond during the summer both juniors and adults.

The Large pond is a
mixed fishery that caters for both the pleasure angler and the specimen angler. There’s
fish in the 1lb to 10lb range, Carp Bream & Tench with some silvers. For the specimen
Angler there’s Carp up to 30lb with Bream to 9lb and Tench to 7lb. In the summer
Parking at the Swale is in the Farm Yard it’s only a short walk to the first peg.
In the summer you can park down the bottom field but DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PARK THERE
DURING OR AFTER RAIN.
The Swale holds good size Chub and Barbel; it’s also good for
Pike & Trout.

As Part of the lower Tees Amalgamation you also have the Lower Tees from Bowesfield
lane up to Preston Park. Access is via Preston Farm Ind Est. Park up next to Archers
(not in Archer’s car park) then it’s a short walk to the River.
A good days fishing
can be had here with large catches of Bream and loads of silvers, For Pike anglers
threes also good size Pike. We also have matches on this stretch.
Over Dinsdale, We
have around 8 matches a year on this stretch of river.

Rounton Pond is now available to BAC members. The pond is a mixed fishery with good
stocks of silvers, Bream, Carp.
