September 28th 2001
Things didn't go quite to plan in the run up to this one. Richard started a new job, Dave started a new relationship, Tim was busy at work, Terry was short on his hours worked and my day off, I thought was booked wasn't. Graham was as usual perfectly organised but as us others had failed we postponed the start from 12:30 to 17:30.
Starting at Owens bar with a couple of bottles of wine, between the four of us. we moved onto Delaney's Irish theme bar, once there it would have been impolite, not to drink the Guiness.
Duty done off we went to The Last Wine Bar for a meal, but first more wine and an argument about French wine being the best in the world. Personally, I don't think so, I would agree it's the most overpriced.

Apparently we left The Last Bar and went back to Delaneys, while the others got
drinks, I started talking to this group of ladies, memory is faded but I think
the lady in red is Clare they are studying politics? at the UEA I dont
think I spoiled their night.
Onto
Chicago's, now had Dave F been with us he would have been standing in the
middle, Rachel (right) and ? sorry!
I hope he got what he wanted in Wales
After two hours of dance we left and I politely asked, two more ladies, to pose
for David F, but Graham bravely step in, as the stunt double.
My
appologies for this shot but the drink got the better of me and it would be a
waste of a great pic not to publish it.
If this bottom offends too many people I will remove it.
Perhaps another member of the outing could write more, cause I can't remember much.
