Hartside Top Cafe - Alston

The LMCC's first official rideout and surprise, surprise we actually arrived at our proposed destination.......... eventually!! We got to Alston  and realised that none of us actually knew where the cafe was We found it by asking a local and after a few minutes the two "gotta go for a pee - we'll catch you up" LMCC'ers arrived fresh from Hexham!! God knows why they went there but it all goes to show that LMCC ride-outs are going to be anything but boring!

While we were there we got talking to a friendly bike bobby (apparently there are some) who told us about a couple of his bike colleagues that were flying about in the locale and to wait until they arrived at the cafe before we left. Decent chap we thought but he forgot to tell us about the traffic car halfway down the hill whose occupants were pulling anything remotely trick and giving it a very close look at. Drip Dry had to leave early and guess who was the only LMCC'er to get a tug......... some people are just naturally lucky eh!

Alternative power Bernie demonstrates the latest line in dog-powered wheelchairs.Things were fine until a cat appeared..............	What the ............ Good for a caption competition this one. Dunno who's most surprised, the dog or the rider!	Drip Dry's bad finger Mazola gets lashed into his pastie while Drip Dry reckons there's something wrong with his finger..........at least I think that's what he meant

At last! Our two intrepid explorers finally make the cafe from darkest Hexham	Hmmm! Doesn't look like a kwakker does it?	Wot's this then? Yep! it's an Aprilla, art or a load of hullage?
