    Tickets are available on walk-up at the Victoria Hall or Regent Theatre Box Offices on the day or before for  

£7.50 ( Concessions £6 ), or in advance by telephone 0844 871 7649 (booking fee)


The Victoria Hall is located in Bagnall Street Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, ST1 3AD.

There is a good car park opposite, pay on entry. Easy links to the M6, M1, A50, A52  & A34

Stoke-on-Trent railway station has frequent connections from London, Birmingham, Derby, Nottingham, Crewe,

Liverpool, Manchester & Hereford,  and it is a 10 minute bus ride from the Victoria Hall

A special programme for the 75th  anniversary Battle of  Britain weekend


From the Kilns to the Skies.

Produced and narrated by Prof  Ray Johnson MBE

Silent films of local interest to improvised organ accompaniments by Donald Mackenzie.

The scene is set a century ago during WW1 and an action melodrama produced in Stoke during the war. In the 1920s we see pottery production , then comedy dramas made here in the 1930s , culminating in the Spitfire.


Throughout  Donald will be exploring the wonderful tone colours of the ‘King of Instruments’ at the Victoria Hall in improvisations and  related pieces such as Wedgwood Blue, RAF March past March and the Spitfire Prelude.


This Prom will have a 85 minute run time
