Supposedly this is a two-hour compilation of Necrophilia scenes from 70¹s porno films. Well I was unaware that there was even a Necrophilia fetish in the porn world at all, much less in 70¹s cinema so the curiosity factor took over and I had to check it out. All I can say is that if I truly was a fetishist of this sort of material (and had paid $39.95!!!!!!!) I would be righteously pissed off about now! The tape is really a compilation of very bad murder scenes from 70¹s era porn typified by HARDGORE. The first all gore, hardcore sex feature. All the splattery scenes (yes of both kinds) are present here on this tape, and yes they are hilarious just like the whole flick is. That dude dressed in the cheapjack devil outfit screaming NIRVANA still cracks me up. The rest of the tape is filled out with bloodless (and talentless) scenes of copulation followed by an unconvincing death scene. If I bought this tape to get aroused by there would be a resounding disappointment, but if it is >intended as a laugh riot for a drunken party then some of it works just fine. The most frightening moment is when this fat, sweaty psychopath is about to have sex with a hooker (we know he¹s gonna strangle her cause the narration keeps telling us so) and we see his terrifyingly small pecker. Why would a guy lacking in this much length and girth ever commit to having the tiny appendage photographed for posterity? I mean what if his grandchildren see this and realize it was him that corrupted their gene pool? I just wanted the guy to put on his pants and go away so I could stop feeling sorry for him! The best moments on the tape are clips from Zebedy Colt¹s ultra violent sleaze-fest SEX WISH. This was a movie I had avoided checking out for some time because of its rapist storyline (I just can¹t justify rape in porn even if the movie is trying to tell a story. It's still porn and trying to titillate which bothers me when rape is involved). But these clips showed that it is a well made, frightening film worthy of more attention. In fact it plays far more like a deranged horror flick than porn. The movie is captivating because of the outrageous and genuinely psychotic presence of George Payne as the infantile obsessed killer/rapist. The clips in this collection focus on his degradation and killing of various women (actually a couple of dudes too). His grasp of this character and the ease he slips in and out of the personalities is astonishing and very, very scary. I cannot imagine audiences getting off on this as much as being riveted with grim fascination. This guy is one scary motherfucker! Unfortunately the tape ends with a graphic hardcore rape scene from SEX WISH which leaves the entire viewing experience sour and foul smelling. Smith's gender-fuck visions, more radical than mainstream concepts of drag, conflate dress-up with striptease, ludicrous acting with a sure belief that one can become one's costume. His visual style is a dense and demented re-creation of von Sternberg, the smallest fashion accessory a radiant surface as camera and character--and character and costume--move in a coordinated ballet at once graceful and spastic.
