Omeron |
|
Omeron's musical mission is to recreate some of the moments of overwhelming beauty he witnessed on dancefloors and in chill out rooms around the world. Upbeat or down-tempo, his productions are defined by a sense of melancholy, longing and beauty with the emphasis more on interwoven melodies than pure rhythm. To Omeron, house music should offer a journey of the senses through a landscape of contrasting atmospheres and emotions. His live set ranges from fragile ambient to warm deep house and is occasionally strengthened by the presence of multi-instrumentalist Matt Derbyshire. Or in the words of Ulrich Schnauss: "thanks for passing over a copy of your demo cd which i really enjoyed listening to - exciting mixture of styles, good production and some truly uplifting, emotional chord changes!"

Omeron was born in the heart of the Netherlands during the summer of love. With a passion for music since his early teens, he played bass guitar, keyboards and drum computers for several years. Being introduced to house music in the early nineties prompted a period of 10 years of immersion in rave culture, exploring the scene from Amsterdam to San Francisco. In 1999 Omeron settled in Oxfordshire and took up producing music again.
