The Atlantean Fleet
The first buses to be delivered of this type to Oldham's Wallshaw street garage, was in 1965, when a batch of
just 10  was delivered .
During the last five years that Oldham corporation was to survive, Leyland produced an order of 73 Atlantean's
on the PDR1/1 chassis, But in 1984, the AN68 chassis allocated to Oldham, was also to be numberically the last
to be delivered to GMT.

Both Bodybuilders who built these buses survive today but owned by different companies, Charles H. Roe
(optare) and Northern Counties (transbus/Plaxton).
