Curious to know what happened to the old "OldBaldy On The Web" ?

Basically, I, personally, changed a little, and I thought the site should reflect that. I would also like to believe that my web-design capabilities have improved a little over the ages. Add to this, the fact that I decided to get rid of the frames element of the site. Frames are now a pretty dated concept, and search engines really don't like them. However, I also wanted to retain the navigability frames offered, so that meant that a full rewrite was the order of the day

All that remains....

I couldn't bring myself to completely do away with the old site, so as my little concession to this I have decided to keep one specific graphic, after all, you don't get much older or balder than this pretty little rotating skull (which I originally *ahem* acquired from the #England website before I revamped it).

The Main Changes....

What I have decided to do is, as I am not quite as obsessed with some of the older elements of the site as I used to be, but still didn't want to waste all of the time and energy I put into building them in the first place, I'm going to rebuild the Star Trek and Red Alert sections into standalone websites.

The IRC section has gone completely, as I don't really use IRC any more. Who knows, I pop in occasionally, and it might eventually make a reappearance.
