Until fairly recently, I wouldn't have been able to consider Anna a friend, because I had been stupid enough to not take the time to get to know her properly. Fortunately, I've seen the error of my ways, and put in the effort, and it was well worth it.

I am now proud to consider myself a friend of Anna's and Anna a friend of mine. She has a wicked sense of humour, and a hidden softer side, both of which keep a huge grin plastered across my face whenever we speak, be it online, on the phone, or via one of the occasional text messages we exchange.

One day, I hope to get the chance to meet her for real, but in the meantime, I'd like to point out that there's nothing wrong with liking maths!!!
