The replacement of the old yellow lighting on Heaton Moor Road with white lighting has helped to make the area safer and prevent crime. Labour councillors called for major upgrading of street lights but Tory and Lib/Dem Councillors would not support this. We will continue to do what we can. To prevent driveways being blocked on Parrs Mount Mews off Didsbury Road it is proposed to introduce parking restrictions.
