Not a very imaginative page title I'm afraid, but I couldn't think of a better way to describe it! Basically these pages will contain pictures of ABBA, Agnetha and Frida that have been either scanned by myself, or that have been downloaded from the web, and "enhanced" or "retouched" by myself in some way using Photoshop.

Many great pictures (here and on the "colourized" pages), were posted by other fans to the ABBA pictures newsgroup at alt.binaries.pictures.abba, and I'd like to give special thanks to the likes of Yvonne S, DaveR and Maggott for the terrific pictures that I "borrowed" from them, and worked on for these pages. My apologies to any others I failed to mention!

One particular picture I'm rather proud of, is the one named ag1972b.jpg on Page 1. This was posted to the pictures newsgroup by Yvonne S. if I remember correctly, but the original picture was much smaller, and was badly affected by those horrible "moiré patterns" that so often occurs after scanning from magazine or book pages. I worked on this one for AGES in Photoshop, and a couple of times I virtually gave it up. I'm glad I didn't however, as I think it turned out pretty damn good...if I say so myself! Hope you'll agree!?

So folks, even if you think that rare photo scan you made yourself isn't that great, just send it to the pictures newsgroup nonetheless....I'll be happy to try and breath new life into it! Or drop me a line to ask how you might improve it yourself!

This photo enhancing lark really is great fun, but can take over your life a bit!
