This page now appears to be quite popular, so for the time being it will remain a permanent feature. It was my intention to add a section of short video clips to the site at some stage, but after investigations into the cost of the hardware / software required .....I'm afraid this will have to be put on ice for a while yet! (Unless some kind soul out there would like to make a donation or two!!??)....only joking folks!

In the meantime I've been dabbling with some animated GIF software, and so I thought it would be fun to try and capture a few of my favourite "ABBA moments" in this format. Of course there is no sound, and the clips are only short and somewhat small on screen, but hopefully you will still enjoy them!?

Although only short, these clips are still large files, and so I can only find room for one clip at a time. I will try to change this clip every few weeks, (assuming of course I have a new clip to include!) Each individual frame is captured from video using my trusty "Snappy" capture unit, and each frame is worked on in Photoshop. I then resize the frames, and create the animation using Ulead's "GIF Animator 3". Note that these files will take a while to load and run at full speed...so be patient and admire each individual frame as you wait!

This Month's featured clip

This is a clip I've had prepared for a while now....but I felt somewhat nervous about displaying it here ....for fear of accusations of being a male chauvinist pig! My excuse for including it now is purely down to the requests I've received to do so....honest! (I'm in for it from the "women's lib brigade" now I guess!)

It is of course Agnetha's amazing "Bum waggling acrobatics", taken during the performance of "Money, Money, Money" in "The Movie". Speaking from a (typical?) hetero male's point of view, I have to confess that this has always been a favourite clip of mine....purely from an artistic point of view you understand!?

Anyhow, I hope the ladies (especially Agnetha!) will forgive my latest lapse in good taste and "political correctness"....I will try to clean up my act for next time, I promise!

This clip is quite large at around 2.5Mb, and will probably take around 12 minutes or so to download completely. As previous clips, it runs slow in IE5, but at normal speed in Netscape Navigator 4.61. Hope you enjoy!
