This tiny book was made in response to an invitation from Pati Bristow to send her 'an artist's book on something political, which could be held in the palm of one's hand'. 
It is of the concertina type in an edition of 12 .
The economic cost of the war in Iraq to the USA this year alone will be over 
$150 billion. In the long term the price to pay has been estimated up to an average of at least $3,415 for every U.S. Household. (1)
But only £25 (2) provides a starving family in the Sudan with the tools and the training necessaries to build a crescent shaped dam, This low tech solution is very efficient at retaining the very scarce rainfall of this arid region and so to grow a reliable supply of food all year round. (3)
