Monthly events

Do you want to explore North Nottinghamshire but are hampered by transport problems? Unsure of where you can go, or what to look for in a walk?

Well now the county council can help with the release of a pack of six walks, easily accessible from the Robin Hood Railway Line between Nottingham and Worksop. The pack has been a joint venture between Notts County Council Environmental, Robin Hood Line, The Countryside Agency, Greenwood Community Forest and Central Trains.

Detailed routes can be found in the pack ‘Exploring the Robin Hood Line’ obtainable by ringing Dawn Needle on +44(0) 115 977 4483 or from any of the counties Notts Tourist Centres, tourist attractions and some local bookshops. Price £2.50.

Remember…
Take into consideration the time of the trains when making your plans. Timetables for the Robin Hood Line are included in the pack and displayed at all the stations on the line.
