A great way to get around the park is by cycle. Either bring your own or choose one from the huge range at the Cycle Hire Centre.

With a cycle you can enjoy a five-mile cycle route around the 90-acre lake or explore the 10-mile cycle route through the hidden depths of the woodlands.

The Sustrans National Cycle Route runs through the Park. You can also join the route at Edwinstowe, Worksop and Sheffield.

Mountain bike, tandems, cycle connectors, child bikes and bikes with child carrier seats can be hired. There are over 250 cycle available - all serviced by a team of experienced cycle mechanics.

For disabled people the Harmony Trandem is suitable for most wheelchair users (please book in advance).

Two's company.Cycles can be hired for two hours or a whole day and with a choice of 5 or 10 mile cycle routes there is plenty to explore.

The Cycle Hire Centre is open daily form March until the end of September, and at weekends and school holidays for the rest of the year. All you will need is identification such as a driving licence or National Trust membership card.
