Our
thanks go to everyone who came to our Halfpenny at War event in 2011
and made it such a success. We know how much you all enjoyed
it, so we're doing it again!
The war is returning to
Wolverhampton’s Halfpenny Green Airport, on
Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th May, 2012. Displays will
be featured between and inside the hangars of this former wartime
airfield. Halfpenny Green is also known as Wolverhampton Airport,
and is located at Bobbington Stourbridge, DY7 5DY.
As before, this is not an exclusively Northern Forties only event - if your
group wants to come along to join in with the fun, you are more than
welcome to do so. All re-enactment groups with static displays and
military vehicle owners are invited to join us to make this a major
attraction in the area.

SS or Japanese), period civilians and Womens Land Army to come along and muck in
for the weekend.
