101st Airborne:  About Our Sub-Group

We are a newly formed groups of friends who have an interest in the 101st Airborne.  We used to attend events informally as individuals, but have now decided to get together within an officially recognised group to offer ourselves and what we can do to event organisers.

We like to attend various 1940s themed events, and can appear as:

  • MPs to deal with those badly behaving military personnel causing anguish for the locals (or we can sort out errant spouses of visiting members of the public!);

  • we are getting together a limited static display of American equipment;

  • we have a static display of forces' combat medic's field equipment/captured 'loot'/ captured 'weaponry';

  • we take part in skirmishes/battles;

  • also, with our wives and partners, we sometimes give demonstrations of the some of the dance techniques of the period.

Above all, our members like to have a good time at events, in good company.

If you would like to join us phone Gary on 07990 752 243 or email the-screaming-eagle@hotmail.com
