HOMEPAGE WHERE TO SEE US NEXT

We are a UK-based 1940s re-enactment group with a mixture of civilians and military personnel.  Our members come from as far afield as Harrogate in Yorkshire, across to Lincolnshire and Norwich in the east, North Wales and Northamptonshire in the South Midlands.

We consist of a number of like-minded individuals who have fun dressing up in wartime period clothing at a variety of 1940s themed events mostly in the North of England and Midlands areas.

We like going to steam railways, museums and other places holding 1940s wartime themed shows. Re-enactment means taking a pride in your collection of clothing and uniforms, meeting people, sharing knowledge - but most of all - it is about having fun.

Other re-enactment group gets involved in battles at some events. Through our connections with others, we occasionally take part in some too. However, our club is mainly for those who like a more sedate time at events.

If you have an interest in history - in particular the wartime years - why not come along to some of the events we are attending to see us and our collections?

We are particularly interested in new members interested in helping out with our existing displays, or those who have collections to show off to the public.

Whether you are interested in re-enacting as a hobby, or you have seen us at events and want to know more about us and our collections, please browse through our site.

Some of our members will be appearing at Foxfield Steam Railway, Caverswall, nr Stoke-on-Trent over the weekend of 4-5 July.  There will be an air raid at 11.30 each day, a fashion show on Saturday, church parade on Sunday 11.00am and a battle on both days at 3.00pm.

OUR LATEST PHOTOS
We spent the sunny May Bank Holiday weekend at Tutbury Castle. Alan and Joy showed off their navy display, whilst our 101st Airborne lads also showed off their kit to the castle visitors.  And look out for the famous "Fallen Madonna with the big boobies" which made an appearance.
