My Connections

My many connections include Scotland, particularly around the West Lothian area, where I stayed in West Calder for some years. With friends and family still in the area we often return and stay at Linlithgow in some very well appointed holiday chalets at Craigs Holiday Lodges. My particular interest at the moment is the Falkirk Wheel and Millennium Link which links the Union and Forth and Clyde Canals.This is soon to be formally opened and a tremendous feat of engineering. Look out for some photographs on my web site when I have returned for a forthcoming planned visit.

Scotland is a photographer's paradise, especially in the spring and autumn. If you can get up to the Highlands in the early hours as the sun is rising, then you will be able to capture the some of the most spectacular scenes on earth.

I have connections with Oxford, as I was born there. My father's family had a wine merchants in the City which has long since been acquired by one of the big high street names. Oxford is well known for it's University Colleges and dreaming spires.
