The programme produced for the occasion included details of the musical selections performed and the musicians performing them:

Programme: Page 1 Page 2 Page 3 Page 4

For the Record, all musicians were guitarists, except the following (in alphabetical order):

Clarinet: Kenny Davern
Drums: Terry Clarke, Glenn Davis
Piano: Jon Raney (Jimmy's son), James Williams
Upright bass: Lyn Christie, Steve Gilmore, Gary Mazzaroppi, Pat O'Leary
Vibraphone: Warren Chaisson

One Musician who performed (on Jack Wilkins invite) but was not listed was guitarist: Ron Affif. He played in "Guitar Selection" along with: Juris/Christie/Clarke.

Musicians in attendance, but not performing: Billy Bauer, Al DiMeola, Mark Elf, Bucky Pizzarelli....there were others, but I just dont know their names!!!

There was also a "Vesper" service that started at 5:00pm, unfortunately, I missed it since I didnt get there until about 7:00pm.

Also, chatted briefly with Gary Mazzaroppi, (he was my favorite bassist, he really caressed the bass and handled it gently like a newborn child, seeing/hearing him play explains why Tal loved playing with him!).

My two favorite performing guitarists: Jack Wilkins (fast!) and Ron Affif (very expressive player, reminds me of Jimmy Bruno).

Believe me, all the musicians were truly "Creme de La Creme", there were NO slouches in the house!

Kudos to Dan Axelrod, He played the beautiful "If There Is Someone Lovelier Than You" with flawless ease on his 12 String Les Paul (giving it a nice bright sound). He's definitely his teacher's protege! Personally, he seems to be a genuinely warm, honest and open-hearted person. Prior to playing his selection, He gave another "Eulogy" of Tal, at points, inducing tears from my eyes.

Having only spoken with Gary, Michelle and her close neighbor (whose name I just can't remember, it was while waiting to speak to Michelle), but the only other person I would have enjoyed speaking with would have been Dan. Unfortunately, the service ended at 11:00pm and, being pressed for time, I decided not to approach. Who knows maybe someday I'll meet Dan in the strangest of places!
