Routerlog revision History Version 2.1. (5/25/2003) Add of "Log exclusion" parameter for Syslog output. Add feed to external program from Syslog input. Minor bug fixes. Version 2.0 (5/19/2003) minor bug fixes Version 2.0 (5/18/2003) Syslog support Netgear product support (FVS318 and RP614). Maybe other - let us know. Version 1.5 (2/18/2003) Add "log exclusion". Will let the user exclude some entries from the log (screen and file). Add the WAN IP address to the ouput file log if desired - compatibe with the newest version of DShield. 1.4 Fix a bug for D-link router (DI-704, DI-713) where the login mechanism of RouterLog would not work. Fix a bug where a double click on the IP address in the screen log would not automatically fill the "Launch with this" - External program edit box on some OS. 1.3d A password encryption problem was find in RouterLog. In some cases, the password wouldn't be save properly to the registry making the auto-login to the router impossible and getting an "invalid password" message in RouterLog screen after a restart of the program. 1.3b It fixes a small bug in the encryption engine of routerlog where wrong decryption was done on the password that was save to the registry. Nothing flashy. Since the encryption mechanism has change, you will have to re-enter the password in the appropriate box in RouterLog. 1.3a Small modification to RouterLog 1.3 (now 1.3a to inlude to seconds in the logs) 1.3 Attached you will find the version 1.3 of RouterLog to update the site. This version fixes a problem when the "Remember Last Date" box was uncheck. A complete refresh would always be done resulting in continues alerts. It also add different time/data format display and GMT time inclusion in log. 1.2c Small modification to the program to include the Wan Type in the status window. 1.2b Oh.. I discovered I bug in the API (all version). If you have multiple intrusion atempts at the same time, only the fist one would be recorded. It is fix now. Just re-download the same version (I though I would be able to fix it before anyone downloads it - miss). 1.2a OK.. thanks for the e-mails I got. There was a few issues with this version in regards to Dynamic IP, Static and remote admin. All fixed: 1.2 The router Log program have a new version. This one add a router status window (internal/external IP, printer, DNS info, etc.) 1.0g deal with a log content screw up when using the router with a dial up connection: 1.0f Date remembering (not to have duplication of log entries from session to session) and the duplication bug fix (better anyway - you might not have notice this one). 1.0e This one address an issue where multiple alert could be sent on the same address (for the intrusion arrount the top of the minutes, ex.: 14:01:59 - may be translate to 14:02:00 - in effect making a new entry). It could still happen with this release but if it does it will only be once. Also, have added a function where if you double-click on an address in the log screen it will automatically populate the argument box of the external program. 1.0d * Add password encryption * External program access (I use to automatically inject the IP of an intruder in NeoTracePro). Could be use to auto e-mail or whatever. * The time now display the seconds in the logs. You might need to re-enter your password. 1.0c Mostly esthetic changes. Tooltips, name change. blablabla. If you want it: 1.0b Double-click or left-click on the system tray icon to get the dialog box. This is a new version. Fix bug for the icon for the system tray in Win9x, add better time synchronisation, animation on the system tray and the sound is now internal to the software (if you want onather sound, just put any wav file besides the program in the same folder with the name 'intruder.wav') 1.0a I've added an Auto-admin-Login feature and few bug fixes. Tested with 1.92e. Let me know about other bios revision. 1.0 wrote a small utility to let me have access to the log information of the Barricade without the browser and to log it to disk. It runs under Windows NT4,2000 and 9x. Features: * Log to disk * Alert on intrusion * Auto-update * blablabla
