Ramesses I (1293-1291) is welcomed into the afterlife by Anubis and Haroeris. This scene is on the South East wall of the burial chamber of his tomb, KV16 in the Valley of the Kings in Thebes. The tomb, found in October 1817 by Belzoni, appeared to have been ransacked in antiquity. Ramesses only reigned for a short time hence the reason why this tomb was unfinished.
