Welcome to Nicole's Pages

30th July 200. I had extensive surgery on my face about six weeks before this photo was taken. This is also a great rarity since I'm actually smiling. I am a woman whose birth was incorrectly recorded as a boy. I share a house with a good friend and my three cats in Oldham. In June 2002 I decided to revert to my true gender and I've written about the ups and downs of this in my diary which I hope might interest those trying who are trying understand transsexuality. Here is a snapshot of some of my thoughts about the whole business of changing gender.

Since this is my web site, I see no reason why I shouldn't be able to publicise my opinions. I've also agreed to host, temporarily, a guest opinion former, Georgia.

In January 2004, the Gender Recognition Bill was introduced in the House of Lords. I've made some observations about the debate.

It seems that no site like this is complete without the obligatory photo gallery. Since I am not embarrassed about my appearance, even if not young and glamorous, here's my album.
