This is the first ever picture of me on my first evening out, taken in June
2002
This was taken following a make-over in North London, in August 2002. I can't
say I hit it off well with the lady proprietor, so I won't mention the name, but
it's the most glamorous picture I have.
In November 2002, Sally-Ann asked me to present a thumbnail sketch of the
operation of ADSL services to her Amateur Radio Society club.
In February 2003, I had major plastic surgery on my face in Belgium. The pre-operation pictures are here, with me looking very haggard, not having slept for 24 hours. These pictures were taken immediately after I was discharged with 24 hours of the surgery. (Warning: they might be upsetting to some people.) These pictures were taken about three weeks later, and these a week later still.
This was taken on my first outing about ten weeks after my facial surgery.

On a lovely summer day in 2003 in my garden
My passport photo, taken in November 2003. I look like someone's rather potty
mum, I guess, but I'm quite pleased with it.
Late March 2004: a close friend was staying for the weekend. I was in full "make-sure-she-has-enough-to-eat" mode.
