Introduction
I am aiming to visualise the predominately discourse based study of behaviour associated with dysfunctional patterns of relating. I believe some useful information is buried in some quite complex and specialized academic studies which it could be beneficial to make more accessible.

This research continues from an earlier study of domestic violence but focuses more on the dynamics and psychology behind the phenomenon. I am interested in how the family system works - how the dynamics within it make for either an adaptive (healthy) system or a static (unhealthy) one. With always one eye on producing visuals, areas that have been influencial are self help, therapy, improvement and  DIY.
I have been exploring the use of illustrative vehicles in the pursuit of supporting positive change activity. Through creating a series of such vehicles the nature of adaptation, learning, self-managed learning and development are explored from a visual language perspective.
