Rockrbabe - Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA

Alistair, Melbourne, Australia

i'm doing outrage cause im fucking sick of having to see some inbred, rich, scab's head on the back of a coin everytime i  turn it over, despite the fact i live on the other side of the world from her.   im doing outrage cause my countries prime minister still licks the arsehole of an 80 year old woman on the other side of the world that has never done anything for us. im doing it because australia still doesnt make its own decisions, and looks up to a completely stupid system (house of lords? monarchy? can you base your political system on being rich any more obviously).  im doing outrage cause i want to get one step closer to freedom in this country and have a republic.   im doing outrage cause a monarchy is an outdated, jurrassic idea and the people trying to fight it in england need our support too, cause its not just there  problem. it really does affect everyone.

on the day im gonna be hosting a big punk gig  down here in melbourne so we can all get together and do what we wanna do so  much; worship the pistols and give the queen the finger.

this whole thing in june is just so cool!  popular music these days tends to be so...homogenous and pallid, people need to be reminded of the fire that can be part of rock music. back in the day of the  pistols and the whole punk rock scene, outrage was integral to the music. not  just anger, there's plenty of that in music today...out and out outrage. the pistols brought such a level of it to the kids of the day, we were able to vent and blow off all the steam that built up in day to day life. we grabbed it and loved it. they were primitive and rough and raw and crude and defiant and we wanted some of it!! nick's putting together a real punk reunion....it's a great reminder and a way to revisit some grand times!!!! now the best american punk  band is going across the puddle to the U.K. and giving you back some of the punk  you gave to us!!!! go see a FUX show, get crazy and tell roman i said f***  off!!!!!!!!

" this isn't a competition between pro-royaly  and anti-royalty factions in our view., nor is it an indictment against the queen or the royal family. to the supporters of the "outrage" this is simply a nod to 3 guys who started a new musical genre and carried it throughout the UK and across the pond to the states. throughout history england has reveled in  it's influence and contributions to world views and cultures. the sex pistols did no less than that. by playing the music they loved they opened the worlds ears, once again, to the talent and voice that is england. like the beatles before them, the sex pistols influence lives and breathes today. to those of us who remember them and loved them, this is a celebration to the gift that they  gave us in their music and their outrage." people should take note that, like the "mersey beat" and the "fab four" before them, punk rock (and the sex pistols specifically) shouted to the world that the UK was here and doing well!

THE F.U.X. - Allentown, PA, USA

1776 - the American colonies tell England FUCK YOU

1976 - The Sex pistols tell England and the  entire world FUCK YOU

1996 - The FUX begin telling the tiny town of  Allentown PA FUCK YOU

2002 - OUTRAGE celebrates the anniversaries of '76, and The FUX pack for the road and England to continue the process.

Hello England!

Your OUTRAGE event is a welcome return to  the anarchy of my youth. I still spread it whenever possible from continent to  continent by way of my punk band, The FUX.

Actually, for us here in America, it wasn't  really anarchy. We had the Stooges and the Ramones around for what seems like forever now, always pushing the envelope. Obviously the name The FUX is just pushing the whole Sex Pistols name a little further too, but I give you yobs or  lads or sods or whatever you call yourselves credit: back in '76 while I was walking around NYC amazed at the last Iggy Pop spectacle, you kids over there were making national news headlines with your spitting, safety pins, and despicable treatment of the press. Negative publicity became a downright  practical concept, order out of chaos was my new agenda.

Unfortunately I succeeded a little too well and landed in prison, where the real Anarchists were. But you can't keep a good  disease down, and I was out eventually recruiting again. This time no more drugs and crime, just plain over-the-top sincere rage. I didn't give a fuck about  success, I didn't give a fuck about being on the radio. I didn't give a fuck  about what parents or the press thought, and so we became The  FUX.

Since '96 now we've carried the "old school"  punk rock torch now, and we'll begin spreading the OUTRAGE word starting on June  4th in the tiny towns of Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton and Emmaus, PA, where we'll begin a series of shows from houses to halls, all ending on June 8th with  an event that will have parents actually showing up with their kids to  participate! You see, I became a guitar teacher eventually and have earned the respect of parents and kids both because of my following the same concept of  hard honest anarchy that the Pistols succeeded in so long ago. The FUX name  appears in newspapers in all these town now, much to the shock of the powers  that were against me. My reputation for succeeding by being over the top is the very reason people started paying me for my knowledge. The old punks have their  own kids now, and feel true to their nature turning them over to me for the  "proper" education in this genre of so-called "music." It's really an attitude though, isn't it?

So Thanks you fucking Pistols, you gave me a purpose and a career, and I'll be over on your soggy soil to show you what you  spawned shortly after July 4th, the anniversary of our country telling yours to shove it way back in 1776.

MP3 FUX

In honor of the great stride the Sex Pistols made towards mainstreaming punk, The FUX, from Allentown, PA (centered between  Philadelphia & New York City) are honored to participate in your Outrage  event.

Because of the fact that The FUX have an  obscene name and are resented by our own press and parents alike we have huge followings of youth, and regularly schedule all age events at undisclosed locations. We will be spreading the word and throwing a show in the nearby town  of Emmaus, PA.

Hailing from the country of The Stooges  and The Ramones, we feel it is our duty to keep public your punk related antics,  especially since we will be arriving on your shores in July to continue to promote the very same thing

I'd just like to say that this Outrage has been  a very big part of my life ever since Nick has sparked the flame. As for my  plans on June 4th, it's going to be crazy. I've really just been trying to organize things for my band (Arngotter) to do by myself. It's going to be a busy day, and an experience i will hold onto for the rest of my life. First off, we are going to haul all of our gear to our highschool in the morning and play it  by ear. The word is already out right now and swirling within the town. If we  can persuade the suits in the office, we will play on the roof at the break of the bell, if not, we'll turn our amps to 11 and blast "God Save the Queen" in the cafeteria. This should get a croud of atleast 500 out of 1100 kids at  school. After this, we may go to several parks and play sets just so the whole  town is aware. Hopefully this will get the media's attention so we can show people the true meaning of what it is to unite. I'm really psyched to be playing  in such an important event with some of the greats of the business like The Bips, The F.U.X. and of course, Nick Nasty himself. My reason for participating is simply to spread the word of unity and individualism, and to show people that all it takes is an idea to spark a revolution. -Jared Reynolds Lead Singer/Guitarist for Arngotter (www.arngotter.cjb.net)

Griffin Flannery - Scituate, Massachusetts,  USA

I am doing this because I love all older punk, like

the sex pistols, the ramones, and the clash. Also, it

is the closest I can get to being alive when these

bands were touring, i guess.

LOUD SILENCE - PUERTO RICO

WE ARE DOING IT FOR THE LOVE OF PLAYING. PLUS  IT SOUNDS LIKE AN AWESOME IDEA SO WHY NOT HELP 'EM OUT.

We are still planning on what we're gonna do that day, but one thing's for

sure and that's that we're gonna be playing on the rooftop of on the band

members' house

THE NEGATIVES - BRADFORD UK

We're doing it because we think that we can  make an impact, a difference,

show the world there's more than just  kow-towing to overpaid overblown money

suckers - interesting to hear today that the old bird put all her stuff into

trust funds years ago so that there's no tax to  pay, if only we could all do

that instead of dying in penury; there's more  than a big birthday party

going on here, everyone should have something  to say....

where were we 25 years ago? I was thinking of  getting a band together and it

happened in 1978, so i was there for the last  one and i'll be there for this

one, except this time its MY bloody jubilee as well!!!!

The Voxtones - Mississippi, USA

25 years ago in 1977, I was playing guitar for a punk band in SanFrancisco called the Noize Boyz. The Sex Pistols took the new  genre to the public eye and gave it a name "punk". we were all trying to make a  statement that We will not be stamped filed or numbered.. we will not be forced  to fllow established guidelines. Unfortunately, the whole punk movement later became a fashion, with it's own established guidelines on sound, look  etc.

The Voxtones will be playing at an as-of-yet undisclosed location. We will be playing at full volume, and hopefully will be  able to get "God save the Queen, Anarchy in the UK , the star spangled banner,  and dixie off before the cops shut us down.. it will be very public.
