"Hey Nick, I just seen your page and gave the new Passion For Mel song we did a vote and I just noticed that your from the UK. Talk about  a long range collaboration! I also didn't know you were one of the original punk artist from the early era and I also didn't know I was making a song with a  known musician like yourself. It's an honor man. You were doing some pretty cool stuff before I even thought  of being a musician. You and I will be doing more work together man, don't worry  about that. Didn't know I was making music with a celebrity of sorts from the  UK, that is awesome in my book."

ABOUT Mr Nick Nastys GENERAL MUSICIANSHIP & GUITAR PLAYING - FROM FELLOW MUSICIANS -

"  ...on raw feel and emotion..you own everybody...dont be modest... "

wow, this is groovy cool man... way out there ... love it! One of the best things I've heard  from you man, great work! You're one of my favorite guitarists on this site. You, chavie, kerr, and narshadda, bob, and chill. nick, after reading your site,  i bet you have some good connections ;) awesome. I can't wait for your next song. it reminded me of some of hendrix's longer extended jams. like alot of stuff on electric ladyland. TRIPPY TANTRIC Acoustic rocks.

Youre great with the  wah wah mr nick nasty 3 pages..everything has probably been already said, so I'll just say it shortly..this is incredible..I really can't ignore the amazing  production..sounds totally pro, flawless.. the track itself, well, I'm speechless..

"Dude, that sounds like something Steve Vai would do."

"Reminds me a bit of Joe Satriani's "Midnight"

"Very interesting piece. Some parts  sound like "Ballerina 12/24" by Steve Vai"

"Nick ... wow ... I like this  ... very ambient, new age-y ... eastern ... almost meditation music. Very cool stuff ... the guitar sound has a chime-like
timbre to it ... excellent. Very creative, im impressed." (sergv.net)

"seriously reminded me of  Santana"

"DAMN YOU CAN PLAY!"

"kinda like Frank Zappa playing the  Blues"

"You beat the hell out of me in playing!!"

"I wish I could  do that!!!"

"I had visions of Eric Johnson when it first started...."

"Its really boredline Satana occasionally, to me at least. You've really got a great feel Nick, don't ever lose it!"

"Thats tasty stuff Nick!"

"Great bluesy playing!!!"

"incredible  wah"

"incredible playing"

"been doing your homework on Hendrix & SRV"

"Man that was like B.B. meets slash! Kick ass Mr.  Nasty!"

"OK, let me run down the list: 1. You're Dangerous with the wah  2. You're Deadly with the wah and the bar 3. What's next? Do you plan a mass murder with the wah, the bar, and a slide?"

"Dude that was nuts! Ive never heard blues that crazy before."

"that was absolutely awsome!!!!that  was right up there with God himself(hendrix)man, awsome awsome awsome!!!!"

"Mr. Nasty ... that was giving me some Hendrix flashbacks ... wild blues indeed!" (sergv.net)

"you are the wah GOD!"

"very Angus  Young"

"Nick, now I know what the Nasty is. very emotional  wahman!!!!!!"

"Great phrasing Nick!"

"Nick: Cool dripping tone! Good motific lines. Way to repeat the effective phrases. You were definately feeling some of these changes. Nice job!"

"That little squeel in the beginning was hella cool. I love the tone, awesome job!"

"Nick...you make me ashamed of how traditional I am, bro. Good phrasing and the effected tone is  something I always chicken out on."

"Dude, what can I say? You are the Wah Man!"

"That sounded sweet!!!"

ARTICLE ...

The obvious guy to mention is Kirk Hammett.  I'm listening to "My Friend Of Misery" and the wah just ruins the solos for me.  In fact none of the solos on the black album, save Nothing Else Matters and The  Unforgiven, sound good to me in the slightest. Now I have heard people use it masterfully. The "Sweet child of mine" (Slash) solo is a classic and couldn't have been done with out the wah. In that case it adds to the playing. I've heard  Petrucci do some tasteful wah stuff too and Nick Nasty has proven that it can be  used to accent the guitar playing.

"FUCK  YEEEEEEAAAAAHHH!!!!"

"Very Hendrixy... Holy shit"

"Great technique as always"

"very cool mate..nicely done indeed...."

"Now I just have to worry about working on my lead playin'..."

"Heh heh, take your time planning it all out-I need the practice!"

"Just a thought, but lately I was thinking. If we don't get more jammers, couldn't we take multiple spots? For example, I'd really enjoy calling someone, but also maybe answering more than one person. Almost like a battle or a challenge. I'm sure more than  one person here wants a shot at the "wah man" Plus a reply to Nick would probably be a bit different than one to me. Just a thought."

"That's  some great playing! Terrific tunes!"

"You are the WAH-MAN!"

"Nick! You've done it again! You've terrorized the world with a wah  pedal!!! Love the new track!!! And sitting at #2 on the blues charts? Congrats  bud!

Nice job man!Sounds good for a Squire Strat

See that...who said Squiers suck. Nice job Nick

holy shit that rocked

awsome job man

Hey Nick,  sounds really cool - "trippy" fits it to a "T"! There was a little run about a  minute and a half into it that I particularly liked. It built up nicely,  intensifying the vibe

Nick, I think this was reall cool. I like the  backing and all the various guitar parts. Blends nicely

wow my man that  was very cool

i wish i could write like that lol

my shit is always  so friggen cliche lol

Very cool tune Nick. The loads of delay on that  rhythm guitar was strange at first, but after a few listens I got used to  it

Nick - you sound like a man inspired

that was really pretty dude...i acutally really liked the delay on the rythm...although i would also  lay off it a bit on the louder part. that was really tasteful...good stuff buddy

great playin, wah man

Lot's of emotion in there. Great tone  as well

Sounds energetic to me!

...dude, listening to this, I feel like I could lift a car!

Great  Finished product.. You all did a killer job!! I definately hear a TOTW..

This version kicks major ass, Nick. Great job!

Thats  definitely a very pyschedelic version. You've had some very unique tunes lately.  You planning on getting psychedelic on the C/R jam too?

Rock On man!That was sweet!

Cool, Nick - haven't heard this tune for a good long while! I  agree - get some screamin' vox on there

Nice work, man!

I think  it rocks!

Rock on Nick!!

Nick, you really gotta get a web cam.  I'd love to see you in action going nutz with the wammy and wah at the same  time

Sounds great, Nick! It's making the caffeine kick in at warp speed this morning

thats cool man! I like it

keep at it dude! It's  sounded cool so far

Sounds like you're having a blast, Nick - lots of  variations. The backing is always a challenge

Right on guys all this stuff was AWSOME

it sounds like you're having fun exploring all kinds of  textures/rhythms with this

VERY JOHN MAYALL

Sounds awsome, i liked it alot, nice job

Awesome bro!!

Dude that was kick ass

it creates an atmosphere of tension/craziness, you know, its definitely not calm or simple :)

scattered sound effects are great!

I liked the  "controlled caos"

lot's of tension, lot's of dynamics

Whoa ... I feel like I'm flying in the vortex of a tornado with multi-layered sounds  spining round and round and round...

Good show Mr. Nasty!

Damn good song man.

i found it to be quite creepy in a good way

loved  the open string pull off stuff ;)

very good stuff man, the layers fit  together really well, and it's a cool atmospheric mood, its got a kind of  'enveloping' sound to it, if you know what i mean.

That was pretty  different and cool man. I liked the psychedelic effects, and the whole vibe sounded like a modern day Interstellar Overdrive by Pink Floyd

That whammy bar dive bomb at the end was SWEET!

I would expect it in like a  slow motion scene in a movie with car stunts or a car chase

I like the spacing A LOT. That's what I was talking about with the latest tune I uploaded myself.  Nice phrasing on the bluesy stuff. This is a smoky bar tune! Love this kind of  thing. That's 2 AM, man. That's what it reminds me of. Very, very cool. The backlit effects are real cool as well.

Nick that's pretty friggin' cool! I like it. Great sound & mix too. smoky bar tune all the way. I see lots of black  lights and a mirror ball.

Those are cool droning, feedbacking tones in the background. Neat!! Kinda Frank Zappa-ish. Nice blues licks.

Some cool effects  and panning too. Reminds me of the chill vibe of "Voodoo Chile". I really liked  this one! Very cool tones.

I think I'm tripping... Thumbs up! very cool man relaxing ........ i really liked some of the licks in this song the production  is awsome similar to morcheeba or massive attack, maybe?

i do like trip-hop type  sounds, so i liked this a lot. very nice! Post some more of your stuff Nick.  Let's hear your imagination...

Nice laid back guitar solo. Makes me feel like Im  in a coffee shop in Amsterdam, smoking a huge reefer This sounds really cool. Trippy, just the way I like it. This song kicks ass. Your voice is perfect for this. Keep the stuff coming! hah... strangely enough, i really really liked that the vocals fit nicely I showed the song to a couple other people and they all  liked it as well. It is a good song, but rather funny also.

oh man, really  really nice production sounds really profesional I like the bluesy style, really relaxing. the playing is really tasteful i liked it a lot!

Sounds like Dark Side  Of The Moon stuff. Especially the vocals...actually everything about it does... I like it a lot. Good stuff. VERY nice production.

It was quite trippy and  creative. wow. wow. honestly that is one of the coolest/ creative new songs iv heard in a while. i'm a huge blues fan myself and i love it! the guitar is pretty sick, and i like your tone your getting. keep it up man!

This is really cool Mr Nick I like the bluesy backing track and playing, the effects work well  with the solo, which is nice and relaxing and all :)

sounds like it could go in a movie... definitely relaxing, i liked alot of the riffs they sounded a little like jimi page in what is and what should never be. I really enjoyed it NICe,  hearing that on my sunday evening, while chillin an smokin was awesome.

Sounded  almost roy Buchanan like or maybe even a little bit of Floyd, SPECTACULAR! I  love listening to this music...especially when uh, spending the evening with a plant whose name just so happened to be Joe. Production is great! I like how you carve your own style as well. Blues influence and solos and pretty much everything compliment each other VERY NICELY. Keep it up bro ...
