got mine over the weekend and must say it's a great DVD to have !!!
There's enough fantastic stuff on here to keep me going for a
long time.
Norm did a quality job on the Jam tunes. A fun good
time listen.
It will take me a long time to go through it all.
(which is GREAT !!!)
There's plenty of MP3's and also Gennations
lessons !!! (my head hurts ....) and the art work is a cool
addition as well. Well
worth the $20

*VAI FAN PROJECT HISTORY* -It all started back on late May-2003, when I had the idea and posted a thread in the Vai.com Message Board General Forum regarding the Project:"How about a Compilation CD from guitarists here in this forum, members of Vai.com, supervised and promoted by the site it self, it'll be a very nice exposure, of course this needs some planning but eventually it'll work...and hopefully such a project will see the light.""We got to decide who's going to do all the mastering and cover work and costs of the cd and need to get a record label (eg.Favoured Nations) to release it, who's going to get the money made from it..like a charity of some kind...all that needs to be sorted as well..."so we had to put a sketch to follow : "First, take your time. It may a lot longer than we ever expected to do our project. Second, make sure we have an outline of what you want to do before you start instead of just winging it. Third, elect someone to be in charge of the project that is a key contact or what not. Fourth: Make sure you have fun!! one of our ideas was to Use "MP3.com" (which was still available n running back then!), It will be FREE to make a CD available to everyone with no money. We can make our own Front CD art and Booklet art for FREE there. Everyone can uploads their song there for free and then all the songs can be put together on the CD.
