Until 1999 these bells were virtually un-ringable. With some local labour some remedial work was carried out and a band trained to ring in the millennium. These bells are still not easy to ring, and fund raising is in full swing for a complete re-hang. As these bells are still in their original frame with original fittings, it is easy to understand why they are such a challenge.

Details of the Bells

Treble Joseph Eayre 1755
Second Joseph Eayre 1755
Third Joseph Eayre 1755
Fourth Joseph Eayre 1755
Fifth Joseph Eayre 1755
Tenor Joseph Eayre 1755 9 cwt in G#
