Below you will find details of the current lunchtime menu.

Food is served between 12 noon and 2.30pm Monday to Saturday and until 3pm on Sunday.

On a Sunday we prepare a choice of top quality roasts along with a vegetarian alternative.

The Restaurant is now open Friday and Saturday evenings from 7pm (last booking for 9pm). Bookings are advisable as we only have limited seating. All food is freshly cooked, and the table is yours for the evening. See the link on the Home page for the menu.

We can also offer the Restaurant room for Buffet parties of more than 20 people. Private booking of this room on days other than Friday and Saturday evenings can be arranged. - Please contact Rachael for further details.

In addition to the food available on the menu below, you will also find a daily 'Specials Board' in the bar - Previous specials have included Polygosh pie, Beef & Kidney Pie, Thai Cod and Prawn Fishcakes, Stuffed Plaice, Beef & Aubergine Malaysian curry and Highland Wild Boar.

Ploughman's Lunch £6.75

 

We start with crisp, Iceberg lettuce, sliced cucumber and tomato, grated carrot and homemade, creamy coleslaw. We then add mature cheddar cheese, Stilton cheese and a slice of ham. Finally, we finish with Branston pickle, pork pie and a pickled onion. All with half a hot, crusty baguette and butter.

 

Homemade Burgers (200g) £5.25

 

A succulent homemade, beef burger made with lean minced beef, onions and our own combination of spices, served in a soft white roll, with fries and a side salad. If you would like, add a choice of sauce from barbecue, garlic mayonnaise, tomato or brown sauce.
