Synonymity

That is the problem.
I exist as a misnomer amidst the crux of two minds
That feel the same entity differently.
Misnamed, by concept, or contrasting friendly
perception,
Which juxtaposes confident affirmations of self.
Affirmed, by self only, while enduring reflections of
the entity,
And never receiving confirmation
Affirmed by self, yet wanting confirmation.
When confirmation returned,
It was directed to me but did not address I.
Sigh.
Synonymity is the problem.
I have simply been misnamed.
