BRIDGE PAINTING Artist Nick Wells 06sep05

This abstract piece was the result of a "live" painting session on the Hungerford footbridge on September 6 2004. This was for a documentary about creativity being filmed and recorded by Matt Newsome and Nick Marcroft.

 
Syringes are a most usefull (though unconventional) part of the painting kit!
In the above picture, a grain roller is being used.
Matt Newsome entertained/horrified the hundereds of passing public -ala David Blaine- with one of my syringes of fluorecent paint! The reactions were hopefully recorded for the documentary.
