Jackdaw

Jackdaw
A striking bird to see from close quarters with it’s bright eye and grey hood. A member of the Crow family, it is also known as the ‘Chimney Sweep Bird’ for it’s penchant for sitting atop roofs. We occasionally get them in the garden, but more often they can be seen on the tops of the surrounding houses.
